Pricing Structure for Divorce & Family cases in general:
The average cost of a divorce is estimated at £15,000 in legal fees but this could increase subtantially where settlement involves property and other substantial assets.
Our charges for uncontested divorce is £850 plus court fees (curently £550)
Our charges for financial settlement and other applications are charged at £300/hr. This hrly rate applies in general Litigation, Family& Children applications
Pricing for Wills, LPAs, Trusts & Probate
Probate: Like most private client firms we charge a percentage of the gross value of the estate - 1 to 2% of the estate depending on the value. We offer other charging options: a) charges based on an hourly rate @ £300/hr for work done or b) fixed fee based on assessment of the work involved - these vary between £3000 to £6000 for small estates. For large estate terms can be negoatiated at the point of instruction.
Wills: Our scale of fees for Wills starts at £350 for individual Wills £500 for Mirror Wills and we provide a quote based on the value of your estate and complexity of the provisions.
LPAs: We have fixed fees of £600 and offer discounts when both LPAs are required.
Trusts: Our charges on Trusts and Estate Planning start from £600 for preparing Declaration of Trusts and Deeds of Variation to £2,500 for setting up a Trust fully inclusive advice and registraton. Our work is generally charged at £300/hr.
Pricing for Conveyancing
Our fixed fee structure for conveyancing is based on value of the transaction. We provide an online quote when enquiries are made.
